Today’s lab includes a brief outline on features of fakes news and also how media focus on less important aspects of society. for example, lifestyles of celebrity Justin Bieder and how he eats a borritor. which is consider to be bad news. the class also part take in a series of games that illustrate how you can get more following through promoting bad news. A lesson plan can be a literture or social studies class on fostering awareness of the fake news. student will learn what and what not to do wwith fake news, how to identify it and providing solutions and awarness. and also for the other games a lesson plan forgeography and political and ethics lesson, to show means by which refugees can travel to escape political and social turmoil in their country. and also student can learn about goegraphical regions and their value systems

Hello all,
My name is Melisa Edwards, I am in the B Ed Secondary Social Science Program with the subject’s concentration of history& Citizen, Ethic and Religious Cult. I have always had an interest in working with youths and have the desire to facilitate social changes within the education system. Studying in the field of education, I hope to work with teenagers in secondary school. I recently had the pleasure to attend the Social Science festival at Vanier College on the theme perspective. Listening to Rachel Zellars, discussion on the issues of mental health, social issues within the education system and how these issues impact youths in education lit something in me. As a tutor my determination in the field of teaching is to inspire and strengthen youth to excel in their preparation for the future.
The integration of technology in education is a new tool use by schools around the world. No one tries to understand the impact? Out of the five courses that I have registered for this semester, Educational Technology is the course that strike me the most. I am looking forward to extending the basic knowledge that I have required on Education technology. And how the use of technology can help to enhance student learning.

This is my final media project done in collaboration with miss Melanie. This is a podcast that I am very proud of even if there is room for improvements. Podcast education is important to education because it provides awareness of education issues and gives strategies to make education better. The project activity is script writing which was later transformed into a mobile phone podcast recording. The target audience is everyone especially those working in the education systems, educators, parents, teachers, and student. The purpose of the podcast is to understand the needs of the student, to show the perspectives of student and teacher of the education system and most importantly to provide educators with strategies that are helpful to make learning experience more fun and challenging at the same time while promoting success for all student. The project is based on questionnaire about student learning experiences and a teacher will also give us strategies of how to motivate a student to learn. The cast are consisting of two individuals who will act as both a student and teacher.

This distortion has consequences” highlights the importance of identifying media biases and how the negative aspects of media news have consequences on society. The articles show us how news media influence and shape our perception of contemporary societal issues. According to the Guardian “Whether or not the world really is getting worse, the nature of news will interact with the nature of cognition to make us think that it is”. I found this quote to be very interesting “Consumers of negative news, not surprisingly, become glum: a recent literature review cited “misperception of risk, anxiety, lower mood levels, learned helplessness, contempt, and hostility towards others, desensitization, and in some cases, … complete avoidance of the news.” Since the role of teachers and education institutions are changing with the transition into modern society, this article is important to education because it is importance to educate people on media distortion and how it is misleading.
